Claimers Corner is an occasional column produced by our very own Mj Racing, to assist readers of Horse Racing Buzz in finding some real value amongst the virtual racehorses made available to claim in races at HorseRacingPark.com.
Here’s a look at some claiming prospects for Sunday.
CRC Race 1, state bred restricted, F3+
A P Rock has handled higher open claiming classes this year finishing no worse then runner up. Looks like a nice steady performer.
BEL Race 2, 3
Bounce seems to be really coming into his own, putting up a huge run at TP last time out in a $25.00 claimer. Earned a 95 SRF speed rating in that race.
CRC Race 4, 3+
Lord Bush wants no part of it in the top allowances but is a proven winner at this level. Ex/Ex bloodline and near perfect conformation makes him even more desirable for possible future stud duties.
CT Race 4, 3+
Missing Souls ran a nice one last time out at a similar level and should be still a value claim.
BEL Race 4, 3+
Misforce is back at a level in which he can perform well. This little guy is made for sprinting at the $20-$30 claiming level.
CRC Race 6, F 3+
One may wonder why Shut Your Yapper is being dropped in for a tag when she is cleaning up at the $10-$13 starter allowance level. Your guess is as good as mine. Solid claim here for the price and you get a filly that absolutely knows how to win.
FE Race 5, 3
Osiris has been winning at will at this level and could make a nice starter allowance runner.
