Golden Race – Tidalium Pelo Derby Trotting 2200m.

Today with only 2 races on offer I have chosen to go to the Tidalium Pelo Derby where we have eight 2yr old pacers looking to go the classic distance on the heavy rated dirt. With €15.000 up for grabs it has brought out some of the big players with 1st place vying for the €9.85 winning ticket.

Finding it very difficult to find just 1 horse to pick today, with the pressure of it being the last tipping day of the week, as well the late surge by Chase in the points tally makes it very close!

So with some intrepidation  I will follow Commande d’or from the barn of Jampridem driven by Gobernador le Retour. I believe the filly has the speed and what it takes to win here. I maybe way out on a limb here but I think she will be at her peak, its a long shot but I’m sticking to my guns.

So with that I leave the door open to some of the well known achievers in this race, Quamarya Ts looks great, Commandante du Corta is also one to look out for at this distance.

My Pick:

• Commande d’or young filly on the up, ready to shoot
• Quamarya Ts impressive over 1600m tends to like the firm surface
• Commandante du Corta strong at this distance.
