Horse Racing Buzz

This weekend saw one of only a handful of group races which take place outside the top five horse racing nations in Europe, in the shape of the Marit Sveaas Minnelop (Group 3) which is run over 1m 1f for three year olds plus at Ovrevol, Oslo.

The ground was officially riding heavy for the Group 3 Polar Cup in Ovrevoll, Norway on Thursday evening but that couldn’t prevent Alyshakeys showing a good turn of foot to sluice up for trainer Wido Neuroth, under jockey Manuel Santos.
