Daztron Double Delight On Raceclubs Championship Day One

Owner Daztron made an enviable start to the Raceclubs Championship series when stable stars Silver Sprinter and Sir Sam Silver, the only runners for the yard in Champ races on the first day, completed an impressive double.

Silver Sprinter, under Charlie Saxon, came out best in a tight finish ahead of Sky Castle Stables’ Wizzimo and Stardust Racing’s Toxic Armada in the opening Sprinters Challenge Final for Juvenile Colts while Sir Sam Silver won a touch cosily for Yasmin Chua in the Nunthorpe Sprint Final for 3yo Colts.

Yasmin Chua was herself completing a double having earlier steered Flying Fillies’ Shes My Girl to victory in the Sprinters Challenge Final for Juvenile Fillies.

Sky Castle Stables was to gain ample compensation for defeat in the opener when when Sunline (NZ) made it look easy in the Nunthorpe Sprint Final for 3yo Fillies and was value for the three-quaters of a length winning margin.

The Newbury Sprint Challenge Final for 4-7yos were tight affairs with Winning Post’s Moral Raiser capturing the colts division with the fillies race going to Butlers Yard’s Belle’s Lullaby.
