The inaugural running of the GIII HorseRacingBuzz.net Mile gets under way this Saturday at Equination. The race is sponsored by horseracingbuzz.net, the Internet’s premiere site for both virtual and international real life horse racing news. Along with news and information on the racing scene, the website provides discussion boards, links to other sites including a virtual racing gear gift shop and sponsored contests open to Equination members.
The HorseRacingBuzz.net Mile drew a full seventeen-horse field with three on the also entered list. Headlining the event is RP Franco Phoenix MD, winner of the prestigious Equination.net Derby earlier this month. The three-year-old colt is by Phoenix Peace out of Athena Franco MD.
