The Full Star, previously owned by TheDhoKettE and one of Newturf.com’s harness racing champions set the auction sales alight recently when achieving the princely sum of €230.10.
The seven year old entire, winner of 18 of his 64 starts and an impressive in the money ratio of 61% is in the twighlight of his racing career and a future at stud will no doubt be his primary purpose. Purchased by Vulcano, his new owner has already put the stud to good use with more than twenty coverings booked for his own broodmares.
The gray son of Léon Des Cyclades finished second in the Prix d’Amérique, the end of season trotting championship race last term and that will very likely be his racing target again this time around. Amongst his many achievements, The Full Star has managed placed efforts in the Stockholm Cup as well as three Golden Races.
