First up today were going to the Hugoboss84 Derby at NewTurf.
This Golden race for the pacers is capped at €40 – 1600m for yearlings with 10 entires fighting out for the top 3 positions.
Special note today is 5/10 horses entered today have removed their shoes to give them the edge and one would presume they are at peak fitness for this race.
My special for today;
* Passion de Lou ( Al Capone37 ) – Wins 9- 56% Placed 12- 75% 16 – starts – Prize money – €19.04
A Julius trained filly Passion de Lou is in outstanding form leading up to this race, with 3 wins from her last 4 starts most notably Critéri. Continental where she dominated the 12 strong event.
*On this going ( good ) she has also previously won a solid 2200m in a field of 10.
Todays Danger;
Colox Rodney and jezabelle d’afrique both have been ITM or in the mix as i call it, they have both come up against Passion de Lou a few times and have played 2nd fiddle to the strong filly.
