The most interesting Golden Race today is the Cancannière Derby. Its a pacer race going the mile on the heavy surface for 2yr olds, with capped net earnings of €30.00.
Interesting you say? Well of the 10 entries today, 10 of them with have removed shoes! LOL … So this will make it a very open field, very interesting as I have never seen this done before.
My Special tonight is walabi di lucas from Ecurie di Lucas trained by Harras Du Chaparral. Ecurie di Lucas looks to be fairly conservative and a patient type who boasts a 60% strike rate wins and places for golden races.
Has had some great form against this company in smaller fields and with only 1 of the horses that have got up against him here tonight. Corgal Rodney from stable Jay looks to be the principle danger tonght, he looks to like the soft surface and boasts some nice times over the mile.
Its too close to call between these 2 but I’m backing my special walabi di lucas on top from Corgal Rodney, all horses being unshod will make for some very interesting racing tonight.
